Appreciate the "Small" things.

Did you wake up this morning and give thanks? We seem to forget this is a privilege. We are so used to waking up and immediately being on go whether it is to go to work, school, appointments, tend to children, etc... that we don't even give thanks for waking up this morning. I have been guilty of this myself. It is so important that we thank the Man upstairs for blessing us with a new day every single day we wake up because it is a privilege that not every one gets. Every day we are given is a new day for new opportunities whether we realize it or not we are waken up for a reason. We are so blessed to be where we are even if it's really not where we want to be. As Ecclesiastes 3 says "there is a time for everything under the heavens." When I find myself wanting to complain... I always remember that verse. Also, that there is somebody wishing they had what I had, so it's never all that bad. It is a privilege to be typing this because there are people who don't have devices to do this let alone know how to read. Appreciating what seems so small is so important because we wish we had this or that which is great to dream and want better, but how can you want better if you are not appreciating what you have right now in this moment? Appreciate what you have now and the rest will come after! As Uncle Snoop says "if you breathing, you achieving!" because literally. It is a blessing because there's people old and young dying every minute and no matter how the world looks it is a blessing to be here!

Small things can include: breathing, health being able to do things on your own without help (mobility), having a meal, clean water to drink and bathe in, a bed, a home, people who love you, having a car, cell phone, clothes, shoes, so much more! This world is so focused on what we don't have how about appreciating what you do have and making the best out of it and watch how much better life gets. Don't forget to give thanks!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
